The heart behind Ruhkaar
A small studio of paper, clay, dried botanicals and very long evenings — making little things that hold a little warmth.
🌸 The Heart Behind Ruhkaar
Hi, I'm Avika Agarwal, a 17-year-old creator and the heart behind Ruhkaar. What began as a quiet little hobby when I was 11 slowly bloomed into something much bigger than I ever imagined. I started with tiny sketches of flowers in notebook corners, handwritten quotes, and simple doodles made during peaceful afternoons after school. Slowly, those little creations turned into detailed mandala artworks and intricate Madhubani-inspired designs that opened a completely new world for me.
Art soon became more than just a hobby, it became a space where my mind could finally slow down. The repetitive patterns of mandala art and the delicate detailing in Madhubani painting brought me a sense of calm that's difficult to describe. In moments of stress or overthinking, creating art gave me peace, helping me focus on tiny details instead of the noise in my head. Every line, curve, and pattern felt comforting, almost like turning thoughts into something beautiful and meaningful.
As the years passed, my creativity began to grow beyond paper. I started experimenting with clay, handmade keychains, paper-crafted decor pieces, fridge magnets, and tiny handcrafted objects filled with warmth and personality. Today, Ruhkaar is a reflection of that journey, a soft little world built from creativity, comfort, and handmade love. Every piece I create carries a small part of my story and is made with the hope of bringing the same warmth, peace, and happiness to someone else's space.
